Good rub that lens itself well to beef and game.
I had seen recipes online for various coffee rubs, but never got all the ingredients together. Now I don’t have to because it’s all done for you with this cowboy coffee rub.
The coffee flavor is subtle, but definitely there.
Reviews: Cowboy Coffee Rub
Coffee on a steak? At first I was fairly certain those two things wouldn't go together. But a friend of mine convinced me to try it sometime. So when I saw this I took the leap. By golly it's actually quite good, really good in fact. You really can't detect coffee in the steak but it adds a great flavor to it. Highly recommend!
I have been using coffee grounds in some of my brisket dry rubs for a while now and this makes it so much easier. Very good flavor. Earthy, hearty, and not overpowering. Also gives your meat a wonderful color after being grilled. I have three different rubs from this company and have enjoyed every one.
As many others have stated, I also used this for a batch of chili. I also pre-cooked the steak with it. Added such an amazing flavor to the chili! I usually add a shot of espresso to my chili, but skipped it this time.
Also, as others have stated, you don't get a ton for what you pay. The bottle is pretty small. But, I will likely only use it for chili, so it should last a little while.
Coffee lovers, I definitely recommend trying this stuff!

A very flavorful and full-bodied coffee food rub.
Excellent on grilled or pan fried steaks and very flavorful on an oven-roasted pork loin. I added oil to the loin to help the rub stick and let it it sit refrigerated overnight. Very rich and flavorful roast, and the veggies in the pan were very good, too.
Comes in a recyclable glass bottle with a twist off cap. The bottle was sealed with a foam disk for freshness and tamper evidence. The cap has two flip-open tabs: one side has small shaker holes and the other has three larger holes...

My husband added this on the tri-tip and we learned a little goes a long way. Don't worry the meat was still good! I was a bit hesitant at first, trying to figure out how to use this but after reading the description a bit more we will be adding this to our chili this fall! I can only imagine how good it's going to be.
LOVE that this is manufactured in the USA!

This Cowboy Coffee Rub comes in a basic container and even though it’s made of very good and interesting ingredients but still I think it’s a pricey product for a seasoning. Other than that it is a perfect combination of Espresso powder and the spiciness of chile that lends depth of flavor in stews and Chile con carne. The good part is that you can also use it is as a BBQ rub for beef and pork and it adds a great flavor and light coffee taste to your food.

This spice rub is rich in flavor, and smells amazing. I’ve used coffee to enhance the flavor of meats, stews, and even cakes, although I would not recommend using this spice for decadent treats!
I make chili often. I used this to spice up my stew meat before putting it in the crockpot and letting it marinate for hours. It was delicious! It is a bit pricey, but I don’t use it like salt and pepper so it should last a while. This is a must try for steak and chili lovers!

This rub is a very interesting and unique flavor. I don’t think I’ve ever had this combination before. It’s made from espresso powder, salt, pepper, sugar, onion, paprika, and cayenne. My husband really liess this one.
